  1. The purpose of this page is to describe how to set up a new email account to work with OlympusNet email servers, and to modify or correct the settings in an already existing account.
  2. Select Settings from the Home screen, and touch Mail from the options.
  3. To set up a new account, click Add Account (email), then click Other on the list of optional email service types.
  4. On the New Account screen, fill in your Name, Address (full email address) and email Password in the appropriate fields and touch Save. In the Description field the full email address is the best description if you have more than one account.
  5. The screenshot below shows the advised settings for an account. [For Domain email,, instead use for the Host Names.] Using IMAP is advised for phones.
  6. 6. Click Save in the upper-right corner when finished.

    Change Settings on the iPhone

    1. From the Home Screen select the Settings Icon, and then click Mail.
    2. Touch the account in which you need to update the settings.
    3. For a password change there are two places to change the password. Scroll through the settings for Incoming Mail Server, remove the dots in the first password field and type in the new one.
    4. Scroll further for Outgoing Mail Server, and touch the arrow to the right of SMTP.
    5. Touch the arrow beside On, under the Primary Server (it will show the Server name).
    6. Take out the dots in the password field and enter the new password.
    7. For OlympusNet, Use SSL should be turned on, Authentication should say Password beside it, and Server Port 587 is recommended.
    8. Click Done in the upper-right corner.  The iPhone will verify settings. If there is a typo, an error will be returned.
    9. Advanced Settings are shown in the screenshot below.
