• December 31 - from 6:00 pm to 3:00 am - The 1st Annual Port Townsend Community New Year's Eve Party & Dance at the Palindrome.

  This is the first event that I promoted. It featured the Intergalactic Blues Band as well as many other local musicians. It was drug and alcohol free and was attended and enjoyed by many local families. We had free soup and hot chocolate. The admission was by donation so many local needy people had a place to go on New Year's Eve. I lost a little money on it but got overwhelmingly positive feedback from those attending and consider that it was a rousing success and plan to do even better at the next one. (Heck, maybe I'll break even!)

• September 23 - at 10:00 am - Annual AIDS Walk featuring the Cartoon Planet Band

  There were many fine entertainers along the route of this walk where locals demonstrated their support for those sufferring from AIDS and their families. I am always open to good causes. I played my string bass along with my son, Sean, on congas at the corner of Lawrence and Tyler across from Aldrich's store.
