As of 1999, the Jazz Crossing jam session was occuring every Sunday EXCEPT for the 5th Sunday of the month (if there was one). It changed schedules often and was even on PTTV (the community channel in Port Townsend, WA).
This was a popular event where seasoned jazz players like Chuck Easton (who is a co-sponsor of the event along with myself, Greg Vinson), mixed with younger players just learning jazz in order to teach, learn and generally have a good time playing music with each other in the time-honored jazz tradition.
