• removes a Douglas fir that is 24” dbh (diameter at breast height) and the many plants we have planted the past four years
• encroaches to 42 feet from our fence and approx. 50 feet from our house.
• elevation change is approx. 4 feet

Here you can see the width of the Board's original proposal. Picture facing the turnaround and our property. Our Jeep Cherokee is parked in the existing turnaround. The road in the foreground is Olympic Ridge Drive. Polly (pink jacket) is standing at point W. All of the land between the edge of the road to the right of the Jeep to Polly would be cleared for this proposal, including the big tree in the center of the picture. This would be a huge area, and is completely preposterous!

Picture taken from other end of existing turnaround is below (facing back towards where the picture above was taken). Polly is at point “W” in drawing. All of the land between the edge of the existing road and where Polly is standing would be cleared for this proposal. Think how many cars could fit abrest in this space! This prosposal is senseless.
