Turquoise Cab Necklace

I had this beautiful turquoise cab and I just wanted a beaded turquoise necklace. Turquoise is the traditional sky stone, the healing stone according to Navajo beliefs. I have some set in silver but I decided to bead one using more or less traditional looking patterns. The earrings are similar to the ones made using the dangles (the word sounds like ja-claw but I'm not sure how to spell it) tied in the middle of a strand of turquoise nuggets. I used turquoise cylinder beads and rondelles as well as faceted carnelian beads and the cedar berry beads that are called "ghost beads" in the Navajo Nation, and are believed to ward off evil spirits.
