These earrings really get a lot of attention when you wear them. I made them to wear with the Egyptian collar in this color combination. I originally made them in lavender and blue to go with the Bast necklace. When I gave the collar to my friend Anne McCaffrey for her birthday, I kept these and made Anne a slightly shorter pair. I got carried away with siam, turquoise, blue and gold Swarovskis and blue, red, and turquoise miracle beads in the fringe and loved finishing with the smaller beads that are commonly called tulip beads but which I always think of as lotus beads.
