BIPOLAR BEAR BAG: Bad Bear Day

On other days, this bear for no reason turns into Binky, the tourist-munching former denizen of the Anchorage zoo. For weeks the grumpy Binky, after removing the offending limb of a tourist who climbed over the barrier and into his cage, carried the tennis shoe around in his mouth as a souvenir. Nobody tried to take it away from him but later poor old Binky died of indigestion. This sour bear became sort of an emblem for the sourdough Alaskan. Twisted fringe, spiral strap, trimmed with Swarovski ice cubes and snow flakes. The pattern is available printed from Copper Coyote Beads and as a pdf from Bead-Patterns.com.
