verification that we are indeed within the inner harbor. Unfortunatly,
there were still many paddle strokes needed to bring us to the end of our
journey.
It seems much closer from your seat on the ferry... |

With powerboats,
ferries, and seaplanes on all sides, we made our way around point after
point, closer and closer....
Our last obstacle, a departing ferry to Seattle, then a clear shot at
landfall.
We were trading smiles... almost there! |

Success! When we
could see the Empress Hotel in front of us, we knew we were there. 21
miles in 6 hours and just in time for a nice lunch and a few muscle
relaxing beverages.
Just another perfect paddle! |
