Features Common To Both Models
Both models present clinical signs late in the developmental phase of disease. Early diagnosis and treatment improve the prognosis.
Both models ultimately pose the same threat to foot integrity.
While each model may have model specific therapies directed at causal factors both models respond to the "Reduce and Stabilize" (Chapman Procedure) Treatment Model
In both models the precipitating causes are frequently transitory.
