HI. Welcome to my home page. Actually, this is more of a flyfishing site than a personal one. I live here in beautiful, GREEN Port Angeles, Washington, which is on the Olympic Peninsula the north coast of the state, right across the Straits of Juan de Fuca from Vancouver Island. Just to the south of us is the world renown Olympic National Park, the source for many very fishable rivers. Some of the rivers on the north and west side of the peninsula, are the Gray Wolf, the Elwha, the Lyre, East and West Twin, the Solduc, the Bogachiel, the Hoko. As you can see, the list goes on and on, and not everyone fishes all of them. One of my friends used to be able to go steelheading somewhere in Western Washington on any given day of the year. Because I really prefer to fish for trout, I fish the Elwha most of the time, although the upper Lyre is good, too. Most of the other rivers, here, are good for salmon or steelhead, though there are a lot of searun cutthroat in the summer. Well, have fun, look around; if you collect bamboo rods, check out the tips and tricks for collecting, and have a fishy day. I will be adding things to the site as I think of them, so come back. And let me know your opinion of fishing these rivers. Who knows, I might see you out there someday.
