Viewfinder has released its first two Northwest publications.  One, for use on the Seattle/Bainbridge Ferry, identifies the Cascades from Bainbridge Island and the Olympics from the Seattle Ferry Terminal.  The second publication identifies the Olympics and Cascades from Port Townsend, WA and can also be used on the Port Townsend / Keystone Ferry.

These publications present the most detail available for identifying views from eye level.  For example the Seattle-Bainbridge Ferry Viewfinder shows more than 60 Cascade Mountains and more than 30 Olympic Mountains. The compass bearing and distance from a fixed point are given for each feature as well as it's elevation.   Locations and distances to many cities beyond the horizon are also included.

The fan-fold publications are printed on heavy, waterproof, tear-resistant synthetic paper.  Unlike regular paper or laminates, these can be folded and unfolded an infinite number of times without coming apart.  At 3 1/2" by 9 1/2" folded, they are designed to be easy to carry, and open to 3 1/2" by 38" to give a true sense of the panorama of these mountains.
