Jeanie Murphy plays clawhammer and old-time picking style banjo. She also messes around with Cajun and old time fiddling and some guitar. She likes to sing the good old songs.

Jeanie loves to teach banjo, having tutored at the Festival of Fiddle Tunes for many years and most recently at the Dusty Strings Clawhammer Workshop with Bob Carlin and Cathy Fink. She can give a special workshop on Wade Ward, Hobart Smith, or drop thumb, and she is often available for private lessons should you be in Port Townsend.
