Why is this tax information on the web?

  • Because:
  •    Official tax documents can be hard to locate on the web. Also Federal & State web pages and active links leading to them have a short life.
  • Is this information accurate?
  •    This Information is from official Federal & State sources. Information is footnoted, sources are furnished.
  • Is this information necessary?
  •   The Tax Foundation [1] a national clearinghouse of tax information says Washington State has the second [2] highest (35.6%) total tax burden in the nation. Just State taxes rank 20th at 10.5%.
  • What can you do with this information?
  •    If "The Home Bubble" deflates, the "The Home Tax Bubble" may keep on inflating. This information gives homeowners a better chance at receiving a correct home property tax assessment.
  • Other uses?
  •    Right now, today, many homes are over assessed, (and over taxed.) Learn how to lower taxes on your home, now, and in the future!
  • Would asking elected officials for help. Help?
  •   I doubt it.   Sorry,  the home tax problem came from your City, County, or State Government. Why? Politicians solve problems with tax dollars, they have NO plans for cutting your home tax bill!
A nation wide search at http://www.inboxrobot.com/ [3] using "property "tax*"" found a total of 118 property tax articles. Not one branch of government, anyplace, planned to lower home taxes.

  • What about schools?
  •   Education is important. However, placing it's ever growing cost upon a single class, the homeowner is unfair.
  • Is this a political web page?
  •   No!  Both political parties in this state overlook the run-a-way taxes on homes. Any attempt at lowering home taxes in the last ten years came from the efforts of private, non governmental, Citizen Tax Initiatives and Referendums.
