  Earnings in Pend Oreille County were 53.6% of TPI in 1990. By 2000, earnings were 52.6% of TPI. Dividends, interest, and rent were 21.5% (compared with 20.8% in 1990); and transfer payments were 26.0% (compared with 25.6% in 1990).
  From 1990 to 2000, earnings increased on average 6.5% each year; dividends, interest, and rent increased on average 7.1%; and transfer payments increased on average 6.9%.
