Welcome to My Quilt Page
Below is a collection of some of the
Quilts I have made over the years

This wall hanging is an example
of a simple Bargello design. It is machine pieced and machine
quilted.

An example of an Amish Lone
Star quilt. This quilt is queen size, machine pieced and machine
quilted.

Mother Goose quilt, crib size,
machine pieced, hand appliqued and machine quilted.

Diamond Tierra. This pattern
was designed by a quilter in Seattle. It is fairly simple to make
but is very dynamic. It is the best project found to date that
gives a strong lesson in the use of colors.

Iris in Springtime. This quilt
is hand appliqued and hand quilted. It was a three year project
for a very patient friend! (It was an ideal project while traveling
in the motor home.)

St. Nicholas Wall Hanging
I took a counted cross-stitch
pattern and converted it into a quilted wallhanging. There are
over 6,000 1/2 inch squares (finished size) that makes up St.
Nicholas. It is machine pieced and machine quilted.

This is Bob's Quilt I just
finished. There are some interesting features and stories about
this quilt.

Uncle Mike's Biker Quilt
This California King size Harley Davidson
quilt was made from the Tee-shirts that were collected from various
biker rallies around the country by my brother-in-law. He asked
me if we could make a quilt from the tee-shirts. This is the result
of that effort. There were about 25 tee-shirts (using the fronts
and backs of most shirts) to make the quilt, wall hanging and
four pillows. My husband spent a lot of computer time figuring
out the dimensions of each square and the sashings. Definitely
a challenge for both of us.

Dona's Wall Hanging
This quilted wall hanging is symbolic
of the various quilting techniques that I enjoy the most. The
center of the wall hanging is hand appliqued and hand quilted.
The pot is Seminole as is the outer border. The overall effect
is a bit old fashioned and traditional. The borders were machine
quilted.
Pete
& Angie's Quilt
This Quilt was made for my son and his
new wife. They chose the two main colors, green and burgandy.
This is a fast and fun quilt to make and is one of the few quilts
that I am willing to make over and over again.
