PUTTING YOUR DIALUP ACCOUNT ON HOLD

You may wish to place your dialup account on Hold if you do not require dialup access for a limited time but wish to maintain your username and password.

Putting your dialup account on Hold deactivates your account. That is, you may not log in or collect your email until the Hold is removed. Email sent to your address will be returned to the sender as undeliverable until the Hold is removed.

While on Hold, your username and password remain in place and dialup charges do not accrue. A service Hold may not be activated for a period of less than one month.

To put your account on Hold, log in to the AccountManager, click on Hold Status and enter the dates to begin and end the Hold. Then click the Submit Hold Status Request button.

Costs

  • $8 setup fee
  • $3 per calendar month or any fraction of a calendar month
