Olympic Shakespeare Productions crowns its yearly efforts with compelling and accessible performances of the plays of William Shakespeare. On Summer evenings in years past growing audiences enjoyed Shakespeare in the Park perfomances including the company-adapted Much Ado About Love and full productions of The Tempest and Macbeth in Port Townsends beautiful Chetzemoka Park. This year O.S.P. will proudly present Twelfth Night February 14 through March 1. The production will be directed by O.S.P. Artistic Director, Ted Senecal. These mainstage productions will employ the educational benefits of all other O.S.P. offerings. They will utilize local talent as well as the talents of accomplished visitors to serve up a Banquet of the Bard to the very people he wrote about. Brilliant costumes, music, dance and stage combat will adorn these celebrations of the plays. O.S.P. aspires to the expansion of its Mainstage season to include its own indoor/outdoor year-round venue in years to come. We welcome input that may contribute toward that goal and to more quality performances by Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsulas own resident Shakespeare Company. |
