Friday, February 29, 7 pm, Peninsula College Little Theatre. FREE showing of Iron Jawed Angels. With an all-star cast that includes Oscar-winner Hilary Swank, Julia Ormond, and Angelica Huston, Iron Jawed Angels chronicles the lives of suffragettes – especially Alice Paul (Swank) and Lucy Burns (Frances O’Connor) – who fought to pass the 19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

CELEBRATIONS FOR WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH
March 5, 6 pm at Olympic Cellars, 255410 Hwy 101. Featuring inspirational speakers and the Sequimarimba band. Enjoy homemade soup, bread, and wine by the glass. Sponsored by Olympic Cellars and WomanFest. Donations suggested, proceeds to be given to local charity, Girls at Risk.
March 10, 5:30 pm at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Sequim. Sponsored by LWVCLA. Chili supper. 6:30 pm: A Tribute to Hazel Wolf, $7 Donation. Profits will be donated to a local women’s charity.
March 15, 7 pm at Vern Burton Center, Port Angeles. Performances by Jim Stapleton, Diane Bigalow, and the women’s choral group, “ Exact Change,” from Port Townsend. Poetry reading by Mary Lou Sanelli. Sponsored by WomanFest. Donations encouraged.
